3/181. Verily Allah heard the saying of those who said, (when asked for contributions to the war): "Allah, forsooth, is poor, and we are rich! We shall record their saying with their slaying of the Prophets wrongfully and We shall say: Taste ye the punishment of burning! 

4/37. Who hoard their wealth and enjoin avarice on others, and hide that which Allah hath bestowed upon them of His bounty. For disbelievers We prepare a shameful doom

9/34. O ye, who believe! Lo! many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks devour the wealth of mankind wantonly and debar (men) from the way of Allah. They who hoard up gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah, unto them give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom

47/38. Lo! ye are those who are called to spend in the way of Allah, yet among you there are some who hoard. And as for him who hoardeth, he hoardeth only from his soul. And Allah is the Rich, and ye are the poor. And if ye turn away He will exchange you for some other folk, and they will not be the likes of you.

102/1. Rivalry in worldly increase (greed) distracts you.

102/2. Until ye come to the graves.

102/3.Nay, but ye will come to know!

102/4. Nay, but ye will come to know!

102/5. Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge!

102/6. For ye will behold hell-fire.

102/7. Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision (see it with the eye of certainty).

102/8. Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure.

104/2. Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it.

104/3. He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal.

104/4. Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming (crushing) One.

104/5. Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is!

104/6. (It is) the fire (of wrath) of Allah, kindled,

104/7. Which leaps up over the hearts.
