Backbiting

49/12.
O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo! some suspicion is a crime.
And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you love to eat
the flesh of his dead brother? Ye abhor that (so abhor the other)! And
keep your duty (to Allah). Lo! Allah is Relenting, Merciful.
24/19. Lo! those
who love that slander (scandals) should be spread concerning those who believe,
theirs will be a painful punishment in the world and the Hereafter.
Allah knoweth. Ye know not.
24/20. Had it
not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you, and that Allah
is Clement, Merciful, (ye had been undone).
24/23. Lo!
as for those who traduce (accuse) virtuous, believing women (who are
unaware) careless, cursed are they in the world and the Hereafter.
Theirs will be an awful doom
24/24. On the day when their tongues and their hands and their feet testify against them as to what they used to do (lie), |
